I had a very unsettled day on Friday 28th February, did a massive food shop and tidied the house. We were due to go out that evening, I got ready and we actually got to the restaurant and I decided I wanted to go home as didn't feel right..... I went to bed as soon as I got home and was woken with a sharp pain at 10:30pm, I ignored it but 15 minutes later there was another, I then slept for an hour and another few came all about 10 mins apart. At 12:30 I started to time the pains and they were ranging from 3 mins to 12 mins apart but lasting 50-60 seconds. It got to 2am and I rang the hospital they told me to go in as when I was on the phone to them I had 3 big contractions. I got there at 3 and was fully expecting to be sent home as the contractions had slowed to 10 mins apart again. I was checked and was found to be 5cm. They filled the pool and I went in at about 4am, contractions started to be regular at 3 minutes and started with gas and air. At 5:55 my waters broke And at 6:12am Charlie arrived weighing 8lb 9.5 oz.
it was loads better than my first labour and we were discharged at lunch time.

He's just perfect and his big brother is fab with him.
Xx
