What does everyone think of the name Ellison for a girl? (Ellie for short)

Not big fan of "son" names for girls but Ellie is cute as a nn!

I think it's normally used as a boys name, but it's actually a surname so I guess it could go either way? xx

Well i've only heard of Allison for a girl -- never Ellison -- but it's a nice twist, IMO.

I have known boys named Elliston & Ellis

Prefer Eliana (nn. Ellie)

I was going for the Allison with an "E" twist. I have only heard of one Ellison and she was a little girl.
