Naming your baby..

So been talking a bit about baby names.. And it's a huge deal being responsible for naming a human being..
I love my name as I dont know anyone else with my name..

Just wondered..

Are some girls stuck on what to call their LO's?
Are you waiting to see what they look like?

If you have a name.. Are you set on it?
Are you keeping it to yourself as a suprise?
Or just not telling so that no one else uses it for their baby?

I had always knew my names but I knew that if baby came out and didn't look like said name then I would change it! But I think my LO fits her name.

my boyfriend suggested Jericho, surprisingly.. we both love it

originally I didn't wanna tell anyone, but I realize that most people don't care for the name so I'm not too worried.

the middle name is what's hard to choose for us!

We havent settled on any name yet but I dont think I would like to publish it before babas here as Im paranoid someones stealing it! Esp when many dont have that name.
I dont like when ppl "steal" names!!!

With my first no-one knew her name because we chose soo many and didn't settle on any until i was overdue

With Max, only people on BnB knew what he was going to be called, as no1 else even knew i was having a boy

Next time i'd probably keep it a surprise! I've never even thought about someone stealing the name before, but now you mention it..

I never thought about anyone using/stealing her name or thought about having a back up..

We chose her name for a specific reasons that are important to both of us..
So it best suit her when she comes out lol.. I'm sure it will cause to me it's the best most meaningful name ever

i think its so rude if someone intentionally goes out to "steal" a name! especially if its blatantly obvious!
id be pissed lol.

we chose isabelles name once we knew she was a girl and luckily it suits her she is defiantly an Isabelle although i am guilty for rarely using her name lol. she is boo to me! always has been always will be

We are definitely set on Lucas Theo.
We looked for weeks on sites and through books for a name we liked and believe me; boys names are so so hard to decide on!

However we've both agreed that when he comes out, if the name doesn't feel right, we will have to look again (I'm packing my baby name book in my hospital bag)

Luckily I don't know anyone else who is pregnant other than the people here, so I don't worry about name-stealing. Next time though I want to keep it a secret, mostly because people are mean about it.

OMG im having the hardest time finding the PERFECT name. i've already said okay "this is the one" to like 10 different names already and then i always end up changing my mind. ughhhh

I have my name decided, but it could change if it didn't suit him. It did take me ageeees to pick it so I hope it does! I completely agree that it's such a big responsibility. I found it so hard to pick a name that would see him through life.

Isabelle's names really suits her!! Hmmm Isabelle Rose.. I might use that as my back up

We found boys names hard too.. We've been set on Elsie May since I was 14 weeks..
We chose a boys name but never really fell in love with it like we have with Elsie.. But like I said it has sentimental value added to it..

I know loads of pregnant people but even the people on here - you build up friendships with..
Ignore people who are nasty.. people didnt like Elsie May but our families love it and I dont care about anyone else lol.

We're keeping it a suprise til the baby shower and then we're revealing it on the cake so everyones really excited about finding out I don't really want to put it on facebook though as i honestly don't know what I'd be like if one of my many pregnant facebook 'friends' who all seem to be having boys 'stole' his name! I mean i know he's not gonna be the only Logan in the world but I don't personally know a Logan! People who 'steal' names are just lazy tbh especially when it's blatently obvious lol xx
