natural birth or c section

hi my question is to those of you who have more than 1 child and who have had a c section and a natural birth, did you prefer natural or c section? the reason i ask is because with my first labour i got a 4th degree tear and im now pregnant again and really worried about giving birth again, i was told at my 6 week check up with my first child that i could have a c section with my next but dont want to be held up for 6 weeks with a newborn and 4 yr old! so any own experiences would be appreciated thanks
