ive just been reading this, and i was soooo worried that my consultant would just immediately say that a vbac is not possible. i am a type 1 diabetic and has an emcs with my 1st daughter, which was very much a "surgery" environment and i didnt get to cuddle her until she was atleast an hour old. and then it was only for 5 mins as she had to be taken to neonatal for tests as she was 36weeks....
i did a birth plan already which said at the top in bold letters "i will refuse an elective c section" but if i get immediate skin to skin and delayed cord clamping, i will be more ok to the idea of it.
what do you all think? has anyone in the uk tried for this and got refused or has had this experiance?
