Natural m/c - bleeding/discharge afterwards (warning: possibly TMI for some)

Hi everyone.

I had a natural miscarriage last Wednesday night (no D&C needed) and had a question about the bleeding/discharge afterwards.

(WARNING: Might be TMI for some!)

While I am only having bleeding/discharge now when I go to the bathroom (and only every 4th or 5the time), it is bloody (red and brown) and very stretchy/mucousy. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, how long did it last? Everyone else talks about bleeding afterwards, but to me - this is just "goopy". There's really no other way to describe it.

Hiya....

I had mine on Tuesday, but have been bleeding since last Thursday and mine changes from the same stuff you describe to full on bleeding

I had 2 full days of full on bleeding, then the 3rd day it was here and there spotting (hardly anything) and then 4th day is was like ewcm with blood mixed in...just the once or twice though. Its now over.
I think what you are experiencing is pretty normal.

It sounds normal. The bleeding can go on for a few days, or even a couple of weeks. Hopefully yours will be over soon.

I was 5 months pregnant when I lost my son and was bleeding for 7-8 weeks after having him. I went through a normal labour symptoms before giving birth to him. The bleeding would most days be very heavy and I would have alot of mucus slimey stuff with it.
