I was wondering whether anyone else has had nausea with pregnacare vitamins.I have tried taking them after food but still have nausea all day.

well, granted i'm only on my 4th day of pregnacare, but i have yet to have any nausea. can you split the pill in half and take half at breakfast and half at lunch/dinner maybe?

I only have a problem if I take them on an empty stomach. What food are you taking them with? Milk is generally good.

You're supposed to take pregnacare with your fullest meal. I've taken it with lighter meals and had very mild waves of nausea, yes.

I took pregnacare with no problems for my first two pregnancies - 1 very short, 1 full term. When I conceived earlier this year it suddenly started making me feel sick! I stopped taking them and got BioCare Ante-Natal Forte tablets instead which someone had recommended as a good alternative. These were fine and didn't make me sick at all. When I lost the baby and started TTC again I tried to take Pregnacare again as I have boxes of it in the house! Annoyingly, it hasn't changed and now pregnant or not it makes me sick. I think the only alternative is to swap brand of vitamin supplement and, as above, I can recommend BioCare. You can buy them through Amazon - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Biocare-An...1_2?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1282490783&sr=1-2

I've not really had any problems with them and I'm not strict at sticking to taking them at meal times (usually a couple of hours later when I'm still full from a big meal). The only teeny thing I can say I've had with them is that I woke up in the middle of the night feel abit sick but thats it?

You've got me wondering now. I've been feeling nauseous at odd times for about 6 weeks now, probably since about the time I switched to Pregnacare vitamins. May try some different vitamins instead and see if nausea goes away.

I used to take them in the morning with breakfast and they made me feel sick. Now I take them at night after my dinner and it seems a bit better (and at least if I feel sick it's at night and so not at work!!)
