Nearly 11 months and refusing food!

Hi ladies, i suspect charlie is teething because hes been really whingy and yesterday his cheeks were burning and he has nappy rash but hes suddenly refusing food and will only eat banana or yoghurt. Should i put this down to teething or a phase? He usually LOVES his food but now hes just shaking his head and pushing my hand away. He will feed himself a bit of toast but thats it

Could be teething or a phase. I would give him what you can and if he's still taking milk I'm sure it will pass. My baby refused food for 10 days once but eats fine now. I found it was at the same age and it was because she wanted to feed herself and refusing the spoon from me. Have you tried some soft finger foods, does he eat those?

Could be teething or he's coming down with a bug or he's just going through a picky phase. Just offer him things you know he'll eat as well as other things you aren't so sure about and let him choose. Eventually he'll get back to normal again. My daughter is often like this when teething and we had a month when she was sick with bronchiolitis where all she ate was fruit and yogurt. As soon as she felt better, she was back to normal.
