Hi Ladies....

Well its been nearly 2 years now of TTC # 2 and whilst I have conceived I have had 2 x m/c

I am now on CD3 after my lap and I am off to the Dr's on Monday I think I have low progesterone and I am going to ask about baby aspirin, when I went to the hospital a coupe of months ago the jnr DR told me that I was borderline for the clotting disorder....I am mad at myself I did ask if I should be taking low dose aspirin and she said no! But you know when you just get a feeling they are just fobbing you off! OR am I just still being desperate still searching for those unanswerable answers! :dohh:

I think we all do that, search desperately for answers.

If ur border line i dont think it would hurt to take a baby asprin, as long as you have no stomach problems.

When do u get ur results from the lap? I hope they have some good news for u xxxx

:hugs:

I have my follow up appointment in Jan, I had to stay on over night and I know I was still fairly drugged but I am sure the DR came held my hand and said everything was fine they just had a ickle problem getting into my abdomen cavity..... x x x

 I am two years too...on Dec. 1st. I am just miserable about it. But, got a bit of hope from the adoption agency. I have an appointment booked Jan 20.

Aww thats brilliant news, do you know how long things will take?:hugs:

No, they wanted me to download the papers and fill them out and send them in. But, we have questions first so I said we would wait until we speak with them. I don't want to rush into it until I have all questions answered. I know this may sound selfish, but I have a special needs child, and although I could have a million of her, when I adopt, I want to choose a baby without any known disabilities.

Thanks, I am glad you don't think so. It makes sense in my own head. LOL!

Hi boobaby, I was in this section for a bit and just popped back in to say hello. I'm glad that you are getting some testing done and hopefully some answers. No one ever told me the asprin might help but I decided to take it the month of Oct (3 MC's through out the last few years but two healthy children as well) and I got my bfp in Oct. Not going to swear it made the difference but it couldnt have hurt so why not pick some up and try them out! Good luck to you-

:happydance:That is brilliant and thanks for popping in...gives me hope!

Take care and hopefully I will see you somewhere in the pregnancy section x x x

Hi Boobaby,
I hope you get your BFP real soon Hun. If you don't mind me asking, what ( if any) contreceptive did you take after your first baby?

Hello Boo, I went through two years of ttc with icsi. I had an early m/c, one :bfn: and then another m/c. At this stage I changed clinic and was prescribed asprin and Gestone injections due to a short luteal phase. I had read up on things and I asked him about the asprin and the Gestone and he agreed. I had also had a check up at bupa which picked up high platelet levels which meant my blood was clotting.

As you can see it worked and im now expecting twins, something I thought would never ever happen. I knew my own body and stuck to my guns. I really hope things work out for you and that you get your :bfp:

If someone tells you no, ask why not!! I saw Dr Thum at the Lister. He was fantastic and actually listened to what I had to say. My other consultant was a pile of self obsessed pooh.
