Nearly 33 weeks and baby already weighs 4lb 14ozs!!!

Just got back from my growth scan and my not so little boy is measuring 4lbs 14ozs already! Consultant was happy with him and was not concerned but i think that sounds big! Anyone else got any weight measurments around 32-33weeks? x

My best friend got told at 35 weeks her baby was already 7lb ish but that was way out as she was only 7lb 10oz when she was born at 7 days overdue x

I wouldn't worry too much.. At a scan I had when I was nearly 34 weeks baby was weighing in at 4lb14oz also...
However at my 36 week scan baby was weighing in at 6lb7oz and at that point I nearly rolled off the bed! I thought this was abit on the large side. However cons said she was a "nice healthy weight!"

Its just an estimate so dont' worry about your LO size! When I was pg with my angel they thought he weighed 5lb, however when he was born he was 6lb13oz!

At 33 weeks my LO was 4lb 4oz, which is on the lower side but nothing to be worried about (still within 'normal' range) so yours sounds about right if not a little over average! Nothing to worry about xx

No, if you have a normal pregnancy you just have the two. Im on blood pressure medication so have them due to being at a higher risk of low birth weight baby x

Not sure about almost 33 week measurments
But they say baby gains about .4 to .5 pounds a week now and at 36 weeks he was 6 pounds. I thought that was HUGE but probably cause I was only expected him to weight about 6-7 pounds at birth. But if your 4lb14oz then at 36 weeks you will probably be around 6 1/2 pounds which is normal range. So not to big, just a healthy growing baby

I wish I had another scan! I would love to get an estimate of the weight. Had a private one at 26 weeks and they just said she was a good size but no measurements.

? at 28weeks i was told my baby was 3lbs... followed by her saying ''he's gonna be between 8 and 9lbs'' then she said prob closer to 9lbs.... i know to most people thats not big but i tore with my girl and she was 7lb 10oz so I hope he's not xx

I just checked it on an online calulator and for 32 weeks that weight is exactly average
