Nearly 8 weeks and cramps and dizziness :(

Hey all,

I'm feeling terrible today. All was going fine until this morning when I got a big string of cm. now I'm having AF crampy feelings and feeling dizzy like when I'm on my period

I've got an early reassurance scan on Wednesday and I'm terrified it'll be bad news

I've had no bleeding or spotting and the cramps are more uncomfortable than painful but it just feels all wrong...

Is this normal? And advice??

Dizziness is a pregnancy symptom. I often get dizzy standing too long or getting up too fast. Your blood pressure is lower I believe during pregnancy which can cause the dizziness.

If the cramps are just uncomfortable try to relax a little and not worry. Cramps are often associated with your growing uterus as it makes room for a very fast growing baby.

I feel dizzy most of the time, especially when I stand up!! It can be caused by low blood pressure but shouldn't mean there is anything wrong.

As for the cramps, I've been seen twice with mine - I can end up literally doubled over when I move. According to the midwife it is round ligament pain as my (abnormally huge) bump is now pushing over my pelvic bones.
