Neck muscle trouble?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has experience with neck problems in their preemie? My baby is 6 months old (2 months adjusted) and now that she can control her head, I can't get her to lay on the left side of her head or turn her head to the left. I've tried repositioning so that there is nothing for her to look at if she turns to the right but she doesn't care and will stare at a blank wall rather than turn her head to the left. I've tried making it difficult for her to turn her head by propping it with a flat pillow but she works at it until she gets her head turn back to the right. When I turn her head myself, she resists and then will turn it right back the moment I let go. I can get her head turned to the left if she is asleep when I do it but the moment she wakes she turns back to the right. She is getting a flat spot on the back of her head from this and she is getting less able to move to the left at all, almost like the neck muscles are tightening up. We are waiting for our referral to physical therapy but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and could make a suggestion?

My lb had this, I took him to see a cranial osteopath as his head was starting to go an odd shape with him favouring one side & after even the first treatment/session I could see a difference, we had a few more and he has the most perfect head shape, everyone comments on it. He happily used his neck after the sessions and we never looked back
