Hi, as the title says i need a bit of help, my DD has 7oz starting at 7am, 11.00am, 3.00pm 7.00pm and her bedtime bottle at about 9.00pm, she STTN and used to wake up about 6.30/7.00 but she has now started to wake up at 8.00am and go bed at about 8.30pm. The problem ive now got is i cant fit in her 5 bottles at 4hr intervels, as her 2nd to last bottle is at 7pm that means her next one is only 1hr 30 mins later. I dont want to drop a feed because she is only 4 months old. Any sugestions how i can get round this? :baby:

Hiya! My little girl is 15 weeks old and she has only 4 bottles as day now! She's only recently dropped the 5th one! I was so worried at first thinking she wasn't getting enough but My health visitor assured me she is fine. At the end of the day she will only eat what she wants so u can't force it ( I tried it with a 5th bottle but it was useless lol).
To give u a rough idea of what my baby has... I make up 7oz each time and she usually had 6/7 or less at her bedtime bottle depending on how much she's had in the day, usually amounts to 23/24 oz in total! She has feeds at somewhere between half 7 and 9 depending on when she waked up lol, then 1pm ish, half 5-half 6, then half9/10pm!
Really hope this message makes sense to u and helps a bit! Just ask if u have any questions! Main thing I was told is not to stress out (which I do lol) as the baby senses it. Xxx

I can count the good advice I was given by health visitors on one hand. But one of the good ones I got was to give baby a late bottle (10/11pm) up to 6 months even if theyll only take half a bottle, u less it drops below 2oz as then they're not really getting anything from it. At 5 months we decided to stop waking dd for her late night feed and just try dream feeding. 3 days later the bottle was dropped. Though dd was also on some solids by then too, so probably didn't need the extra milk to keep her full (which is why we stopped sooner than 6 months).

Dd was sttn 7-8hrs through the night at 8 weeks and I had some people telling me she shouldn't be doing that. She was more than happy though.
