I’ve actually never had it, could have been a cyst that popped, maybe? I heard you can feel them and they can hurt when they pop/burstI get these during my tww every cycle. They come and go and don’t last long. Not sure what it is. But it can be painful!
I've had them just about every cycle also. Sometimes it can be the corpus luteum from the follicle that you ovulated from, and other times it can be the follicles that didn't rupture if they had grown to a certain size.
My last cycle it was actually cysts that ruptured but they were huge and left over from a cancelled injectable cycle a few months ago. My doctor said that when you get pregnant sometimes the hormones feed the cysts and cause them to grow even more.
Keep testing! You're not out until AF shows![]()
I have never had that kinda pain before. And when I was pregnant with DS 5 years ago, I never have a doctor tell me I had one of those cysts. So I’ve never actually heard of them. Can those cysts rupture at 7-10 dpo and you can still be pregnant?I’ve always wondered if they were the corpus luteum. I never knew about those until I had an ultrasound when I was pregnant with our daughter and the nurse said she saw one. I asked her what it was and she explained. So that makes sense! I guess it’s good to feel that knowing I ovulated!

I’m not really sure exactly what it was the two days I had that pain. Could have been a cyst or maybe something else. AF is due today or tomorrow. No sign of it yet. I still don’t want to take another tests unless it’s been a couple days later that AF doesn’t show. When I had that pain, there was no bleeding so that’s good. AF will probably show tomorrow morning while I’m at work, which will be my luck haha.I don’t think I had one with our son, if I did, they didn’t mention it to me so it might have already went away before my ultrasound. And I’m assuming you could be pregnant with one rupturing since I’ve had one with and without each child. From what I’ve heard with people having big cysts rupturing is that they are pretty painful and can cause bleeding and I’ve never been in that much pain. Mine is when I move a certain way and it’s a super sharp pain but doesn’t linger. But is off and on for days.
This happened a week after I ovulated. I was supposed to start AF yesterday. Which I would have had a 27 day cycle. Didn’t start today so far either. So waiting for tomorrow. If I don’t start by Sunday, then I’m testing again.I have had this pain too in my right ovary when I was ovulating. I only noticed it when I was trying to conceive and tracking my cycles. Good luck!![]()
