For the last few months Kaya has been great about going down at night and only waking once or twice. She would usually go down really well, wake for a cuddle about 11pm and then come through to our bed about 3:30-4am when she would get a little snack before going back to sleep until about 6am (if she didn't get the snack she'd be up about 5am!).

But these last two nights have been really bad. On Sunday night we were trying to get her to sleep for an hour and a half before I sent her out in the car with her dad, 10 minutes later she was brought back asleep lol. Last night wasn't as bad but still took a good hour to get her to sleep. Added to this is the fact that she keeps waking up every hour or so. The only way I can get her to go back to sleep is to offer her a drink (water) or a snack. Needless to say she's ended up in our bed quite early the last 2 nights, but even so she woke me up so many times that I lost count. I don't know why she's doing this, I don't think it's teething as she's fine during the day. It's almost like she's regressing back to being a baby, but I thought they didn't do that until the next baby actually arrived lol.

Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm really wanting to nip this in the bud if I can.

Well im not to sure what to suggest.. :hugs: but ive most certainly been here!

With Max he went back to waking in the night after previously sleeping right though ~ 6pm-6am ~ I found that it was because he needed a bit more food during the day, i gave him bigger quantities of brekkie, lunch n dinner and tried to make dinner time as close to bedtime as possible (I would feed him tea at 5ish say) then keep him in that routine with a bath before bed, this way he knows whats coming, after a few days he was back through the night again, but occasionally he will wake in the night for his dummy to be put back in!

Im not sure if ures is the same problem but i hope it helps anyway, i know how frustrating it is being totally sleep deprived!!! :hissy:
