The name 'Marios' is a variation of 'Marius' which is Latin.
So if you were to have his name 'Marios' it wouldnt be 100% accurate... whereas if you were to have 'Marius' it would look like this:

    Japanese: マリウス

    Chinese: 马里乌斯

If you dont want the name 'Marius' you could have the meaning of 'Marios/Marius'(both the same meaning)

It means 'God Of War' or 'Warlike'

God of war in chinese would look like this:

    战神

In japanese it would look like this:

    戦争の神

    If you wanted 'Warlike'

In japanese i would look like: 好戦的な

In chinese it would look like: 好战

    Hope this helps xxx

wow thanks so much!! im very grateful!!! war of god is also the meaning of my sons name (ari) so it would symbolize both of them, exactly what i wanted. i was also thinking of doing the planet mars because ari=mars and mars i what have been calling my husband for 3 years. i love the first japanese writing. any tips as to where to get it? or how to design it with any extras or alone?
i just asked him about it because i couldnt do something like that without knowing if he approves and hes all for it if we have the money! :D

    Your welcome hun :flower:

it depends how big you want it really before you decide where to get it,have a good think before you do get it though.

i have a quote in chinese down my spine but mine is quite big :D

I wouldnt have any extras personally but what i would do is have some light shading around the symbol, that always looks good:thumbup:

Also get your tattooist to draw up some transferes in different sizes and apply to where you think you might want it and then you can be sure you like it :D xxx

yeah hun that looks pretty accurate, with japanese though i would say definately go for some shading and i would design the symbols slightly thicker
it wont look as basic then xx
