Need HONEST opinions on these twin names

I think Napier has too many ways of teasing. Not too keen on Romero either, but I guess it's more acceptable sounding. Also, how would you pronounce Napier?

i agree with others, that even with a Batman theme, you can find something a little bit more conventional sounding. When we were naming DD, we always imagined, would it look weird if her name Dr. whaterever name, Ph.D.

Having said that, my mum hated every choice we mentioned to the point that she totally ruined some names for us. So we didn't tell her finally until the day she was born.

Personally I dont like Napier as it reminds me of the university of the same name!

Please don't feel the need to be polite. LOL - we keep thinking that our friends may just be saying "nice" "cool" or "awesome" just because they are our friends. So we are looking for real honesty - feel free to slam the names if you hate them. This is not about being nice - our boys will have these names forever afterall.

Well I really LOVE the batman theme, I think that's so cool! Maybe you could try some other batman names.

Harvey
Grayson

Harley and Quinn

Ritter (means Knight) and Blake (means dark) or Duncan (dark fighter)

I love those two. Together they would be the dark knight. Really love them :cloud9:

I actually think that they're quite cute. I prefer Napier of the two as it's a Scottish clan name :D So not weird for me at all. I looked up Romero out of curiousity and while unusual it's not unheard of as a first name and is certainly not in the 'bizarre' camp.

I love Napier! In Scotland its a really common second name. And lets face it, you wouldn't be the first to give a child a last name as a first!

I'm not a fan of out there names, so not sure. DH and I are a little geeky  and he loves Batman. I see Harley Quinn as the character straight off, but many others may not.

Here are suggestions from DH:

Jason & Todd (Jason Todd - one of the Robin's - after Dick Grayson)
Grayson
Bane (villan)
Harvey (Harvey Dent)
Bruce (Bruce Wayne)
Robin
Alfie (Alfred - the butler)
Jim & Lee (artist Jim Lee)
Neil & Adam (artist Neil Adams)
Alex & Ross (artist -Alex Ross)
Robert & Kane (Bob Kane - created Batman)

Obv, up to you if you want to go with villan names

By the way - I have no idea who a lot of these are!

I'll post more if we think of them!

Napier reminds me of Napier university here in scotland. In my personal opinion those names are quite out there....there more than just unusual but i like the first one x

I like both of the names, they are different and I like that. Doesn't really matter if people dont get the batman connection. Its whats matter to you both that counts. :)

However I do not like the Harley and Quinn for twins, I think that may get some teasing in future. I know its cool for Kevin Smith's daughter but then he's famous etc etc and they can get away with that lol

I like unusual names but not these tho sorry. Romero sounds like a car and Napier is too much like Tapier (animal)(sp?).

Like Roman tho?

Thank you to everyone who replied. We're scheduled for a c-section in early November, so hopefully we will make our final decision on the names in the next week or so. THanks for all the opinions!! *HUGS*
