Nothing worked with Brady's colicky issues except changing to Dr Browns bottles which have been brill.

Thing is, Brady has now decided that he wants near enough 8oz a feed, I've put him on to hungry baby milk but he still wants 8oz, he just goes longer between feeds. :dohh:

The Dr Browns are rubbish though after 7oz, they're supposed to hold 8oz but once you put the powder in the water it goes way over the 'do not fill above line' and they leak so i have to pour some out.

I want something that holds 9oz so he doesn't take in too much air but the only other anti colic bottles I can find in 9oz are Mam and BornFree. Has anyone used these at all, or know of anything else that holds 9oz?

thanks

we use mam and i honeslty cant fault them. loads of mummies on here swear by them!
feeding Ruby became a million times easier when we switched to them, and we have stuck by them ever since, no leaking, real good quality, ours have been well used and are still like new, and they look good too! i posted a discount code a while back in the shopping section, for the mam website, i think its good until the end off january!

I use Avent 9oz bottles but I don't know if they'd hold 9oz made up with powder and water, I use ready made. Avent do a bigger bottle than 9oz that might be an option?

Oh fab, just found the code. Might sound like a strange question but can you shake them without them leaking? I always stir the milk as you cant shake the dr browns without them leaking but I'm finding the hungry baby milk a lot more difficult to mix and the teat got clogged yesterday.

yep i shake vigorously and dont have leakage! sometimes you get a wee bit of water coming out from the bottom seal, but its not milk leaking, just water from where ive put them together freshly steralised & still wet... when you put them together dry you dont get this at all.
i use avent bottle sealing discs with them & they fit perfectly!

Cool, thanks hun. I'll give them a try while they're still on offer, Brady's on level 2 dr browns teats so think i'll get some level 2 and level 3's to see which is better for him.
