Need some advice

Since my LO has been on solids he is taking less and less of his formula.
He will sometimes have only an ounce. He just doesnt seem to like it anymore. I know they start to have less around now but his formula is his only drink as he refuses water and juice.

I always offer him water in a bottle and give him a sippy cup with water or baby juice in but he just wont have it, if it goes in his mouth he just spits it out!

Because he was having less and less formula during the day he was waking nights, which he never used to, and guzzling up to 10oz a time. But he is now waking nights and doing the same, taking maybe an ounce or two then biting the end or shaking his head away and refusing it.

Going a bit mad! I don't want him to get dehydrated. Any advice. Thanks

hv told me to give her plently of milk foods, cheese, yogart etc..

luisa refuses water in a bottle or sippy cup but will drink it from a plastic cup... wehold it for her and she tries to sip it.. bit messy but works and she is getting better at it xx

Phoebe started doing this a few months ago. She has now started to have only 2 bottles in 24 hours of 6oz each if I offer her anymore during the day she just grunts at me or bites the teat. I dont have any problems with her waking in the night though so I guess she is getting what she needs.

Have you spoken to your HV?

Thanks ! Will try the plastic cup thing . Haven't spoke to HV yet. Never been too keen on them but will if needs be. I bought some fast flow teats today and hes been having more. He's just been a bit off the past few nights, dont know if its the clock change or maybe more teeth on the way!
