Need some help! Bonsai's.

OH's birthday is on 19th (Next Fri) and I know I've left it a little late but only due to money reasons and Christmas.

I'm buying him a bonsai tree (preferably a Chinese Elm or Juniper) but online has delivery dates of 3-21 days which isn't worth risking. I'm not looking to spend no more than £40 inc delivery but also not looking for a grow kit as they take years before showing something so I'll says 4 years old minimum.

Is there anywhere with fast despatches and delivery, or any shops which sell them at a reasonable age and price?

Home base used to sell them. We had one, but it died...they are quite hard to look after!

Just checked their site and it's only showing some lights, the store is at mid-closure here too so barely anything in store.

Aye, I'll be leaving it to him to maintain and look after. Pity about the season too because they'll more than likely shedding their leaves, meaning it'll be a stick in a pot
