I'm babysitting my friend's baby who is usually formula fed. She is almost 10mo. Well she brought her over about 2hrs ago with 2oz of formula left in a bottle already made...she still has about another hour to go...if not longer. Well she didn't bring any more formula!!!!! This is a baby that eats all the time, no kidding spends 90% of her day laid in the floor with a bottle in her mouth. Well so she is NOT happy that I have nothing for her. I gave her water like her mom suggested until she comes back. Well that is NOT working. She has been crying for over 30min, nothing I do is helping. It's been so long ago with Landon and then casen and Hayden only had breastmilk at this age so I don't know what else I can give her to help fill her up. She doesn't want food because she's tired and just wants her bottle. My options would be cow's milk which I know shouldn't be done or rice milk. Which is really just water, rice, some vanilla and vitamins. She has rice cereal so she isn't allergic to that I know for sure, do you think I could give it to her? Or does anyone have any other ideas of what I could give her?
