This is a very personal question but what does creamy cm look like? I have been on the pill for 10 years and I just came off it. I have been charting but I don't know what creamy looks like. I have seen one picture and it was like lotion. Is it really that noticeable? I have had some cm with a little bit of creamy in it but not like a lotion. Sorry if that's tmi. This is my first month off the pill and I haven't ovulated yet (according to my temps) but I don't know what creamy looks like so I can know when I am about to ov. Creamy cervical mucus is kinda like lotiony, milky, thicker.

Right before you ovulate though, your cervical mucus gets watery, slippery, stretchy, not creamy.

Also not everyone goes through all the stages every month. You might just have "egg-white" around ovulation and never see "creamy". The important thing is to get to know the monthly changes in your own pattern and you'll still be able to predict ovulation. Might take while for your mucus to recover from the pill though.
