Need some ideas...

Hi everyone

Im currently on maternity leave and my year will be up in February. I dont think ill be returning to work as theres no point as it would just cover putting Bobby in nursery. We dont get any help with any benefits but we have a £900 mortgage

Im just looking for some little money making ideas off you lot, doesnt have to bring in a lot of money just something to help make paying the bills easier.

So any ideas what i could do from home??

There isn't a huge amout of genuine homework out there at the moment, but there are a few paid survey sites, you could do party planning for someone like Avon, or home call centre work for a company like Teletech. There are a lot of ideas on moneysavingexpert forums, specifically the one entitled 'up your income' it might help to ask some of the specalists over there.

I have just signed up to loads of survey sites in the last few weeks (you get paid to do market research) - check out OnePoll (they only pay out when you reach £40) I get about 3-5 surveys a day (ranging from 0.05-0.20) and they give you £2.50 when you initially sign up. I only signed up a couple of weeks ago and have nearly made £10. Other sites I can recommend are Valued Opinions - surveys take longer but they do pay more (between £0.50-2.00). They pay out when you reach £10 and you can select which gift voucher you would like to receive - some of the ones are Boots/Tesco/John Lewis/Amazon/ Dorothy Perkins/Argos. Other sites I am signed up to are the Survey Network, Honest Opinions (suggests you can be paid up to £80 a hour for taking part in focus groups and for a 5 Minute Survey £0.50, 10 Minute Survey £1.00, 20 Minute Survey £2.00, 30 Minute Survey £3.00 + 60 Minute Survey £6.00 +). Also check out Working Mums website which lists loads of jobs for mums! Hope that helps xx
