I have not been the most confident person with breastfeeding. I have doubted myself and how I produce since day 1! Dd weighed 6.0lbs when leaving the hospital and today, 3 weeks later she weighs 7.5lbs!!!!!!!!! I am so excited that I am the one who has helped her gain this weight and that all this hard work has paid off!! To know I am the one who is feeding my dd and not a formula is the best feeling in the world!!
So for any other mommy's out there feeling like it isn't working or baby isn't getting enough, make sure you see proof (weight of baby) before stopping. I gave up with ds2 and kick myself in the butt for it now! I just felt like he wasn't getting enough, but he really was the first few weeks are the hardest but I couldn't imagine doing formula again (not bashing formula at all, both of my boys used it=)) and everything that goes with it!
