Ladies, I just got my BFP and today am 4 weeks 1day pg! I have had 2 other pregnancies both ending in early m/c at 6 weeks and 5 weeks so as you can imagine I am nervous when things start feeling too familiar.

I have been having cramping pretty constantly today and last night was up with worse cramps for a couple of hours. In the end I took Tylenol and then could go back to sleep. I was convinced that I would start to bleed but nothing then. All day when I have to go to the loo I think I am going to see blood. But nothing. Just stretching cramps and some lower backache now.

Can any of you tell me that this was your story and now you are here in your 3rd trimester almost ready to meet your babies.

I am praying this is where I will end up this time.

Thanks

ps. Someone said cramps can get worse if you are hungry, was that true for you?

i was well and truely over 4 weeks pregnant before i found out hun (was taking the pill) i dont remember having any pains as such until i got ligament pains but that wasnt for a good few months... i read its so commen tho and its commen early preg symptoms :) so imsure you will be fine... just rest and take it easy hun xxx

Firstly, congratulations on your BFP - its seems a long time ago since then for me but I remember being just as scared! I had had a miscarriage only 2 weeks before my BFP and hadn't even had a period in between! Apparently you can be VERY fertile after a miscarriage!

More importantly for you at the moment - cramps can mean a number of things hun but more often than not will be implantation! You will most likely knicker check throughout your WHOLE pregnancy! Even I do it still now lol. Try to rest though and don't get too stressed because it won't help!

All the best xx

Thanks for responding - my first m/c was in Feb, but the second one was on my last cycle and I have not had a period inbetween. Hoping that this one sticks like yours has!

I had major cramping and bleeding from 5 weeks through till 10 weeks pregnant, thought it was the end but im 38 weeks now so there is hope... i remember thinking that if i ever got through it i would post in 1st tri to give hope to others as i remember googling trying to find a hopeful story. There was lots of posts of women suffering from cramping in 1st tri

really hope it all turns out ok for you honey xx

i had cramping early on in pregnancy and because i'd had a missed miscarriage i was eally anxious even though we'd had a healthy little girl born in between, i phoned MW who said not to worry which of course is ridiculous! in the end, i told a tiny white lie and said i'd been spotting now i know this is really bad but i really was so stressed out keeping expecting to sdee blood every timei went to the toilet! anyway, they sent me for an early scan and thank god everything was ok, i'm now 5 weeks away from due date and i feel bad about lying to MW but glad that i got the piece of mind. also, a friend of mine had 3 seccessive miscariages then on her 4th had bad cramoing, convinced it was happening again but her 12 week scan showed a healthy LO and he's now almost 3 years old, i'm sure it's your body adjusting but if you're still worried, keep pesterning the professionals it;s what they're there for! take care hun and good luck! x

Hey, I'm in Croydon :) Congrats :)

I was over 5 weeks when I found out, but I was convinced I was gonna come on and had period pains (that obviously were not!) There is LOADS of stuff going on down there right now and as far as I know aches, pains and cramps can be totally normal. Only you know your body though.

Best of luck x x
