Im feeling frsutrated about my hubby's lifestyle. Don't get me wrong, he is wonderful and amazing and supportive and he's happy to go along with whatever I want ICSI wise. The only problem is I dont thibk he realises how much this affects him too.

I really want us to get into shape in the new year ready for the treatment-I want lose around half-1 stone before ICSI and he really could do with losing 2 stone. Ive mentioned this and he agrees but I see no enidence of him trying. He doesn't take his supplements unless I nag him, he lies in a hot bath every day and his diet is poor. He is in denial about this and says he is 'not as bad as you think' but the facts are that he never eats fruit, eats crisps and chocolate every day, has at least 2 fast foods a week plus pizza, curries for meals and he wants dessert every single meal (i.e cake, puddings custards chocolate etc).

I just worry that he wont follow through with this. Im starting slowly, just altering small parts of my lifestyle, eating more fruit, going on a walk a day. But it is christmas soon lol.

I am very hard on myself, and I am a perfectionist when it comes to my figure/diet etc. But its hard to stay focused whenhe's sitting there stuffing his face with chocolate every night when Im trying so hard. He is the one who has the low sperm count for Christ sake! :growlmad:

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Sorry just needed to rant. Feel slightly better now. Breathe.....

LOL, sorry to laugh but I know how you feel!

My OH has a terrible diet! He scoffs sooo much chocolate. It wasn't until I said the other day I'm sick of his weight affecting our lives/relationship that he's promised to look after himself. I mean he isn't big (he's 14 stone!!!), but he used to body build and in the last year he has rarely seen the gym so he isn't comfortable with his shape/size/body. He will only have sex with the lights off and seldom wants to go out socialising because he 'feels fat'!

So whilst I don't I'm in exactly the same boat as you I can relate to a degree with the frustrations.

Oh chick!

My hubby is the same... ICSI for male factor and got weighed November last year - i got told what i needed to do and cracked on... he eventually joined weight watchers 4 weeks ago but eating/gym is sporadic and he keeps forgetting to take his multi vits :hissy: It infuriates me as i've had to make all these changes too and got no support for the past 11 months... just him bringing home naughty food and saying i was lovely and didn't need to lose any weight!

Men!!

He is lovely though... just a little infuriating!!! :hugs:

lol mine is the same-He says I could afford to GAIN more weight and he finds me sexy. Sweet and lovely but not the point lol. Its not the end of the world I was just feeling frustrated and nice to know others in the same boat :D
