Right i'm working on a new sticky for this section.

I'm keen not to flood the thread with the info i need at the mo

but it's this thread (https://www.babyandbump.com/natural-parenting/349905-cloth-nappy-diaper-guides-reviews-progress.html#post5754386)

I've been compiling all the useful info i can find that we've down here or elsewhere as a one stop shop.

Katy i've linked your thread too, as i do think member contribution is important and also the links that were in my siggy.

I'll also link to DIY club if you ladies want me too.

what i need though is online stores that you've used and importantly are happy with!

also let me know if i'm missing any abbreviations or articles that you know of that will be useful.

I'm on my phone at the moment so can't find the page but could you put in something about local council cash back initiatives? I found the thought of the upfront expense quite daunting and it may help a lot of people!

Oh, and i'm sure you've got it covered but cloth nappy tree is a must! X

I have used Twinkle Twinkle, Bibs & Bots, Weenotions,
All of which were fab and fast delivery!

I'm from the states and I've noticed because 90% of the ladies on here are from the UK, I have a harder time finding good places to get cloth since all the places you talk about aren't available in the US. So on behalf of the ladies in the states, I thought I'd add the sites I use and hopefully save some US girls a bit of searching.

https://www.nickisdiapers.com/ -Nicki's is amazing with sales and discounts. She sells everything from AIOs to Chinese Prefolds. She also selling wraps, nursing material, etc.
https://www.clothdiaperclearance.com/ -Great deals. None of the diapers are "top of the line" or "perfect", but that's why they're discounted. Some are on there just because the colours they come in were discontinued, but otherwise fine. Some have less-then-perfect stitching, but it doesn't affect the diaper itself. It's just faulty appearance.

Those are the only two I've really taken a strong liking to so far.

Oh and I read the other thread and id just like to say...

I see the point of the having an exhange between people on the forum rather than just links but it is very tedious to those who have been around a while to repeat themselves over and over again- the SAME answers to the same questions. If people have personal questions after the link then great- I usually try to answer, but the questions that are so vast ('Tell me everything, where to start' etc) are just because people usually havnt read a link just like Littlestar's one!

Iv noticed the more & more newbie threads popping up lately that are 'Tell me everything to start' threads are going unanswerd, replies are dropping more and more as its just too tedious to repeat yourself in regards to the basics.

If the links are 'shoved' at people then they read- and come back with a question, its so much more motivating to reply as they have genuine questions about what works for them.

I love introducing people to cloth, and helping them convert. I just think that if they have a grasp of the basics from this link then it will save alot of repetition and unanswerd questions that could really help someone!

phew *aaaand done.* said what I wanted to say! :haha:

Is this sticky going to be just for nappies? If it is going to include babywearing then https://www.slingguide.co.uk/ is a must.

For nappies I've used
https://www.clothbumsrus.co.uk/
https://www.lizziesrealnappies.co.uk/

there wasn't a decision on carriers and slings yet.
