Try not to worry about it too much or you could mess your cycle up altogether. :hugs:

I don't know about you, but my ovulation usually takes place on CD14, 15 or 16 (I'm also a 26-day cycle girl).

I now just assume it's going to happen between those days and gave up OPKs a few months back. I chart, so I still know when I ovulated - just after it's happened. I just found the OPKs really stressful and ambiguous. I've felt much less stressed since.

Just try DTD when you can. Don't forget that sperm can live up to 5 days inside you and also as soon as you get that positive OPK, it means ovulation any time within 12 to 36 hours from then.

Don't forget that lots of ladies have gotten pregnant (and I know one who has a little one now) by having sex just once in the fertile period.

Good luck x

thanks ladiesim just being silly justreally want bfp
silverbell: im a 26 day cycle and have always had pos opk on cd11 but i still do opks just incase, i got the digital ones with the smiley faces this time so im going to start them tomorrow :)
hope we all get our :bfp:
:dust: to everyone

i get nervous because sometimes my dh doesn't want to DTD, so i'm worried that he will say no when it's the right time (he told me before not to tell him when i'm ov'ing because it will put too much pressure on him)...the whole darn thing is frustrating!

thats ecatly the problem, also people just turn up at our house all the time and stay till the early hours we made a deal that i tell him when i ovulate 2 weeks before so he can controll it but when i asked him last night are you still going out thurday night he said why? But 10 minuits later said oh i dont think ill bother goin out thursday think ill stay home with you, so it took him a while but i think he remembered we shall see ugh its so stressfull
:dust:
