nervous - first making up of formula

We're combined feeding & have used instant carton milk up to now. We've just made up 3 bottles using powder for the first time. ~Our lo absolutely screams the minute she wants feed so after much research we have done the boiling water, cooled put in powder, cooled in water & put them into the fridge ready for the evening/night feeds. I'm just paranoid we'll do something wrong

dont worry this is how we make up our formula and LO hasn't been sick yet. As long as you prepare it with clean hands you should be fine

i premake too, as long as the water is still hot (above 70 degrees) then rapid cooled before being put at the back of the fridge. Im sure your doing everything fine x

Absolutely fine to do what you're doing. This way you're making up the formula with water over 70 degrees which will destroy any bacteria that may be in the formula. I know how you feel - it worried me terribly to start with.
