Hey all

I got a bfp on Sunday, after trying since my loss in June. I was excited for the first hour, but have been really nervous since.

I don't even want to go to the doctors to confirm it, or book in with the midwife.

Is anyone else the same? I think my mind is thinking if I ignore it it will pass faster and we'll get to 12 weeks without stressing!

congrats on your bfp! I think that is probably normal. I'm more of a worrier by not knowing what was happening in my body, so I definitely wanted that first blood test and I am anxiously waiting my first apt!

Hiya, im exactly the same, i miscarried for a 2nd time in May this year and got my BFP at the weekend, scared isnt the word.

My EPAC told me to ring them as soon as i got a BFP to book me in for an early scan but im petrified of going and gettingbad news.

Aw, ladies I just wanted to congratulate you on your BFPs - and also say that IMHO what you're feeling is *totally* normal.

I had two MCs last year, and when I got my BFP earlier this year I was absolutely terrified, and didn't stop worrying until I'd had my 20 week scan - even though I'd had an early scan at 8 weeks, and one at 13+4, which were both fine. And as you'll see from my tickers, I'm now almost 38 weeks with a perfectly normal, healthy little girl :)

Best of luck with your pregnancies, and I know it's soooooo hard to do, but please try not to worry *too* much, and be kind to yourselves XXX
