Nervously excited. Pregnancy with a brain tumour.

Hi I am Octavia. Mummy to two girlies ages 5.5 and nearly 4. In april 2014 i had a mmc and then subsequently struggled to conceive, i have endometriosis and also as it turns out i have a tumour up in my brain area! Sounds much more exciting than it is. But in december i was started on meds for my tumour and low n behold, positive pregnancy test!
I am scared that ill have another mmc and find out at the scan the baby has died but for now i am keeping as positive as i can and going with the flow! I live in yorkshire and look forward to getting to know you x

Hi and welcome to BnB! I'm new too, but I know what it's like to have a major medical condition while pregnant. I have epilepsy and had to be closely monitored for seizures during my first pregnancy in 2010. My DD was conceived naturally, but we've been having a lot of trouble TTC #2 Last year we had 1 failed IUI and 2 failed IVF's, all tests come back clear, HSG clear, no MFI, all signs point to unexplained secondary infertility, possible mild case of hypothyroidism, been on meds for 8 weeks now.

Anyway - it's not a brain tumor that I suffer from, but a complicated matter of the brain nonetheless. I hope you reach out for support here - I know I was afraid during my first pregnancy. I'm afraid now, having just had a seizure a month ago, that when the BFP comes (and I pray that the FET in March will bring the BFP!) I could be putting the baby in danger. You just have to have faith, trust your doctors and be strong for yourself, those precious girls you already have and for the next baby to come!
