New baby due on angels birthdays!

Hi ladies,
I went into preterm labour with twins at 26 weeks on 1st April 2005. My little girl stayed with us for 3 days before going to heaven and my little boy followed his sister the day after.

I am now pregnant with my fourth and found out the due date is 1st April. I just can not get my head around it. I keep telling myself that there is not much chance of it being born on the due date but even so the new baby with still be born around the same time.

My emotions are just so mixed, Im over the moon that I am pregnant and can't wait to meet my new baby but I am just so sad and scared at the same time

I am sorry about your twins....It must be very hard, but just try and focus on the little one on the way and how amazing it will be to see him/her.

Maybe it's a strange way of telling you that they will be watching out for this one and helping to keep it safe

Similar happened to me too and my first was induced a few days early to make things easier on me emotionally. Knowing how few babies are born on their edd I don't know if I'd do it now but it helped me at the time

this bean is due day before charlies birthday by lmp but im prepared for tht to change to either charlies bday or the day after wen i have my dating scan as i know wen i ovulated x

i discussed this possibility with my consultant prior to falling pregnant and have ben told i will be offered induction up to 2 weeks prior to help me.. im terrifed of carrying another baby over the day charlie fell asleep x

Thanks everyone, its just so strange and was a real shock! Im starting to get my head round it a bit now and will consider and talk to the hospital nearer the time about the possibility of being induced. I just feel like the 1st of April is my twins special day (a day to remember them) and it would break my heart to have new baby on that day x

I lost mine on the 2nd May this year and this one is also due on the 2nd May! Which i find exciting and scary at the same time!

I like to think that the bubs that i lost is trying to make it a happier day instead of a sad one for me Or perhaps that bubs is coming back as an Earth baby or is watching over me!

I am so sorry for the loss of your twins and can only imagine how hard the same date coincidence is. I was looking at a gestation calculator yesterday (trying to work out when I reach viability!) Only 5% of babies are born on there due date.

You are going to be on tenter hooks - I too had preterm labour - and had PPROM with no warning and I know what a rollercoaster this has been for me so far (I am 21 weeks now). Just keep posting here - it helps as people here really understand.

i am so sorry to hear about your loss. i cant even imagine how hard that is. i'm not sure if this will help even a little bit, but you can think of your twin angels as guardian angels for your lo.
