Hi ladies,
I started seeing a fertility doctor last June and I wasnt very happy with him or any of his staff.
So I searched and someone referred me to this new doctor that I met up with last week. This is what happened.
The office was nice, I kind of wasnt too happy with the front desk lady, but who cares, she's not my doctor. I saw the doctor after waiting for 10 minutes.
He started off by summerizing what he read in my file. And then he right away went into dignosing our problem. He wrote everything down, he drew pictures and told me from the measurments of my uterus he knows I have a higher chance of having twins without any help. At this time my grin was from ear to ear.
He then went into explaining all our options, how long each one took, rate of pregnancy on that method and COST.... He gave us 9 options... NINE options..
We decided to go with option one and option 2 which is, Femara instead of clomid, metformin and actose. And I took a progestrone shot that day to start my period. I was more than 4 weeks late.
Will I started my period Sunday night, 5 days later. So far its moving as planned.
I wil be doing a blood test in the next 3 days to show my LH, FSH and progestrone levels. Then I will start taking Femara with Actose and Metformin. I will do the CD 21 bloods and hopefully it will be great news.
Sorry my story isnt fun to read, Im just so excited and relieved that I found a doctor that knows what he's talking about. This doctor said his success rate for people in my situation is a positive pregnancy test within the first 3 months of treatment. ISNT IT AMAZING???
to everyone. And good luck ladies. I really hope this is out month.
