New here, introduction.

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am 35 yr old, soon to be 36. I have two children. My son Jessy is almost 9 and my daughter Sophie is almost 8. I have had the mirena for the past 4.5 yrs and tomorrow it will be coming out and I will be attempting to TTC my last child.

I am going into this nervous. I had a miscarriage before my first child, and 2 after my last child. All were D&C's. My children were c-sections.

I told myself I would try one more time. I realize I am high risk going into this, but I think I am ready again.

I will see my OB on 12/19 to discuss this with him. I have many questions.

Does anyone know how many cycles I should have after mirena before I should TTC? I have not had any periods in 3.5 yrs.

i don't know about minera, but wanted to wish you luck.
i had my first when i was 37, ttc#2 at 39 now.

Welcome, and good luck....my wife and I had 3 MC's before we had our first last year. We just found out that she's pregnant again (about 6-7 weeks old), and my wife is currently 35. It's not easy, but keep a positive spirit....
