New Here - single and pregnant

Hi, I am new to this site and am 30 wks pregnant. The dad doesn't want anything to do with us, which is just fine by me. He wanted me to have an abortion and i said no. I had a great job but i was just told today that i am being laid off, oh great! what else!!! Now i am going to be a single mom with a four year old and a new born on welfare benefits-its just what i pictured for myself and my family. I know i decided to have this baby but my god, what did i do? I have little to none support from anyone and i just feel so hopeless. I know i can get back on my feet but i just feel like my life is one big broken record. I am going back to college in january so it will just be until then but going from making so much money to what?-500 per month plus child tax and so fourth is going to be so hard, i have so many bills!
I guess i just needed to vent a little in between sobs.

I dont know what the benefits system is like over there but here its also pretty tough, Are they actually allowed to lay you off before maternity leave?? doesnt seem right. You should look into that one im sure you should be allowed your maternity pay then be laid off...

You mentioned college in jan.. thats not so far away! Do you get help funding that? I think you should make a plan of all your money, incoming and outgoing and see where you stand, see how much you can budget for each thing etc...
