Hey everyone,
I am new to b&b and hoping I can get some support/advice here. I am here 5months preg after losing my first son at 20wks due to prom and poss placental abruption, my second preg was a mmc and also the same with my third. To say I have been waiting patiently is an understatement.
Just wondering how so many of you have dealt with new preg after loss. During my first trimester I blocked this preg out and almost didnt believe it myself the second trim is a little more difficult.

So far I have had cervix length scans at 16, 18 and 19 weeks (i am currently approaching 20wks) all seem ok. It seems like I worry about one thing and once over that hurdle worry about something new, only Monday I was worrying about my cervix length and now I have found out that is ok I am worrying about stretching pains and discharge which is sometimes creamy white and sometimes clear and watery.

Seems I am going out of my mind!!!:dohh:

Dont worry about the discharge its more than likely thrush ( i have the same) no harm can come of it to baby but do get it seen to and doc will prescribe something. The one thing I never realised was that you can have braxton hicks from 16 weeks as my doc informed me!!!

I too worry about every little thing like you xx

Oh I have a massive long list of things I am worried about this time around

I have read that many people get this d/c and the sensible side of me knows I need to relax but so hard to. I am having regular scans and checking my cervix length so far everything seems ok.

You having Braxton Hicks too? I started at about 16wks also, get them on and off now but seems to be more so when I have a full bladder and need to pee or when the baby is moving around.

Yeah I am having braxton hicks more when I too have a full bladder or get up up to quickly!! I do understand I worry about every tiny thing sometimes even the braxton hicks as I keep thinking its the rel thing lol

Hi Dani-lou, I lost my second child to PPROM - I too had PPROM around 20 weeks. I am very nervously pregnant - 6 weeks - I have yet to have any scans, care plan or see a midwife (saw a locum doc who was lovely but didn't do much!) It seems like the longest 6 weeks in history. Really pleased that all seems so good so far with your pregnancy and hope it continues to be so xx

I have no experience with PROM but my son was stillborn at 36 weeks in january and I am now 21 weeks preg with his baby brother...

The worry will never end...not until baby is healthy in your arms :hugs:

Hey ladies,

Thanks for stopping by and adding to my post. Its awful to hear others have been through the same tragegy but also comforting to know that were not alone.

Still working my way around this forum which is a little confusing. I hope you are all doing well other than the anxiety that come with preg second time around.

Danielle x
