So OH and I have just broken up and he is asking when he gets to see Arianna. My problem is this: when we are together he NEVER changes her diaper (I could count the number of times he has in her whole life on one hand), he never holds her for more than 10 minutes without handing her back over to me, and he doesn't have ANYTHING at his house for her, no bed, no bottles, no clothes, no diapers, no nothing.

Why even deal with that as it seems he doesn't care at all. Just loving a child isn't enough to raise them, you need to actually take care of them to and not expect me to do it

Tell him he needs to first of all get all the things she needs before he can have her

Might be an idea for you to provide the diapers then you can count how many you sent and how many come back to see does he change them regularly. This is something which pees me off too - if JJ has a poop and ex knows I'm going to be there soon he won't change him he'll wait and let me do it. And he had no nappy cream. So now he has a really sore bum. He's got him the weekend and I hope he's taking care of his bum - I told him to but we'll see

It's really hard when you don't think they'll give your baby the same level of care as you do xxx

Secondly, I'd personally start him out with supervised visits and tell him he has to take care of her during his visits and see how it goes. Make him a list of all the things he will need to buy and see if he's still wanting her overnights or whatever he is seeking once he realizes he won't have you there when it gets hard.
