I have be looking up things about pregnancy and I have read that after conception you can get 'spotting' and I know what it is but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it feels like or looks like because I'm quite worried.
I mean I don't know if its like your period or if its slightly different or how long it lasts etc.
Any help would be great, Thanks xx

welcome to bnb  & congratulations on your pregnancy!
spotting is different in every pregnancy, some people get it & some don't. personally, I had it for the first few weeks, and it was a very small amount of blood, it wasn't anywhere near as heavy as a normal period for me.
if you're worried at all then give your mw a call, or see your doctor as they'll be able to check it out for you :) x

Hey and welcome to BnB.
Spotting is a very small amount of blood. I had within the first few weeks of my pregnancy and it as such a small amount normally just when I wiped. But it was either pink in colour or brown, and there was no lumps. Hope this helps. x

hello! welcome to bnb! :hugs:
i didn't experience spotting, but i know a lot of women who have had it, it usually occurs when your period is supposed to arrive & it's really light bleeding. like effykat stated, no clots or lumps - just either red or brown blood. congratulations on your pregnancy :flower:

Hey Hun

I'm Leah and I'm 17 and have a little girl named gracelynn Elizabeth who's 12 days old
I had a little bit of spotting inthe beginning before I found out I was pregnant

Thanks all. It doesn't feel anything like my period but I was getting a bit worried in case maybe something had gone wrong  I have nausea and headaches a lot too and that's what made me think I could be pregnant. This just made me a bit worried but you guys have made me feel better :) x

congratulations and welcome to bnb :hi:
i never experienced spotting in my pregnancy, but i know it is really common. if you are really concerned, go to your GP/MW :flower:

mine just looked like 4 little dots of brownish blood in my underwear.
