New teeth, now bad latch on one side- HELP!

Help! Josalyn has had her 2 bottom teeth for 3 months now. She got her top 2 in the last 2 weeks.

Since her second top tooth cut through a few days ago, her latch on the left side is painful! On the right it's still fine!

On the left, it's her bottom teeth that are scraping and making the underside of my nipple raw and so painful. It feels like the latch is much shallower than it used to be just a week ago. I don't understand why, since she's had the bottom teeth for a while.

Is this something I can fix and how? She's always had a perfect latch, so I don't have any experience adjusting and fixing her latch.

Or do I just need to wait it out?

It's just that she is still adjusting for them. Stop nursing when you notice it, delatch her, and relatch BUT make sure you are putting her chin to the bottom of your breast than letting her latch so she gets more of the nipple/breast in her mouth. Sounds like she just isn't getting enough in, or latching to quickly.

Ouch! I have a tiny cut on the underside of my nipple that hurts SO bad when she nurses. I tried adjusting her latch to make it deeper, but now I think it's still so painful because of the little cut!

This afternoon she was nursing on that side and it was painful, but then she yanked off and cut me again with her tooth, which made me bleed! OMG, it hurt SO bad, I wanted to cry!

This evening I pumped and just had her nurse on my right side. I'm going to do the same thing tomorrow to give the cuts time to heal.
