heya, welcome! I'm Keegan, 19 and having my first daughter this month, 37 weeks atm. Money SUCKS lol I had to move back in with my mom :(

Yeah if you haven't checked out your benefits office I would definitely go and sign up for WIC, daycare assistance, and maybe even put yourself on the list for section 8 housing. The list is usually extremely long so you probably won't be able to get subsidized housing for at least a year, but it would be good to just put your name on it and see if you would need it later when it becomes available. I know money is stressful but just try your best to stay positive. And when your baby is born, you can have a DNA test done to prove the father of the baby, and then you can go after him for child support (which he clearly owes you). Also, ask about putting the baby on Medicaid when she is born, since she will need health care. I hope it gets better!!

Thanks everybody, I have medicaid now and so does the baby, and I'm also signed up for wic I also looked into some grants and things of that sort. For the US there's a thing called cash assistance it's done through the welfare office but it's only tempory which I don't mind. I was thinking of signing up for this program called first time home owners? Has anyone Hurd and thing about it? Thanks again to everyone who responded. <3

By the way Im Having a boy his name is Abraham I'm 28 weeks and 1 day.

first time home owners? Like an FHA loan you mean?? or is it subsidized housing (HUD or Section 8)?? i haven't heard of anything called first time home owners, but i'm also not TOO familiar with government assistance, just the basics!
