My husband had a vasectomy reversal last year, and although it was "successful" his motility and morphology were too low to conceive naturally. They suggested ICSI, I'm 35 and have 2 children from a previous marriage. We decided to do PGS so we were intending to do a freeze only cycle, but they said my AMH was high (over 10) so we would have to do a freeze only cycle. What were your AMH levels/how many eggs at retrieval? and tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

it's been awhile now but I think my AMH was horribly low at around 2 and I would mayyyyyyybe eek out 5 eggs at retrieval. 4 of which would be mature, 3 would fertilize...you get the attrition rate. So your 10 is outstanding and yeah, you'd have to do a freeze cycle b/c you'll probably have a lot of eggs! I don't know why you'd HAVE to do a freeze-only cycle, though. Unless they'd want your body to go back to normal without putting an embryo right back in. With IVF, they pump you with hormones to get as many eggs as possible in a cycle. So perhaps if you're creating so many eggs at once, they want your body to calm back down first before putting them back.

Good luck!!
