Hi Annie

Welcome but sorry to hear its taking a long time to get your :bfp:. Stress can play a big part I've heard and I have suffered a lot personally too. Have you tried yoga? I find it really helps me to relax.

I hope you aren't on here for too long - in the nicest possible way!

All the best

x

thanks hun

yes i may try yoga and swimming for sure i know swimming relaxes me!

im having a massage and facial this weekend too and gonna try reflexology in a couple of weeks!

im guessing in here 12 months isnt long but it feels like it when everyone around you is having babies!!

Welcome annie so sorry for it taking so long. Trying to relax was TTC is that hardest thing ever. Hope your stay here is short.

Hi Annie

Welcome and I hope your stay is short.

It's so annoying that stress affects fertility when ttc is sooooo stressful in itself!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Welcome and here's hoping you will be one with a short stay.

Hi Annie, welcome aboard. Hope your stay here is a short one. You have come to the right place for support and information...lots and lots of experience and knowledge here!!! Good luck :hugs:

PS: Accupuncture is good for relaxing and helping with fertility.

Hi Annie, welcome to LTTTC, I hope your not here long and you get your BFP.
I find exercise and reading as a great way to relieve my stress.

Is the stress your under work related, home, family or is it caused from TTC??

I really hope you get a handle on what is stressing you out, TTC is hard enough without the added stress from elsewhere.

All the best hun :hugs:

Hi Annie, that sounds really frustrating but its odd that your doctor won't refer you because of it - surely most people that have been TTC for a while have some degree of stress about it (unless you are suffering from stress down to other reasons).

I have been having reflexology and its really good for relaxation. I feel great after it!

A lot of us can relate to feeling fed up and I suppose its a case of doing what suits you to try to occupy your mind with other things - if I were you I'd try my best to focus on other things (it's hard though!!) such as reading some good books, maybe organising a fun night out, exercising, reflexology etc, for the next month or so then if nothing happens go back to docs and ask to be referred.

Good luck!!

hi....sorry to hear ttc is stressing u out.....we have been ttc for 15 mths & alot of people say to me stop thinking & worrying about it so much & it will happen.....easier said than done tho when all i think about everyday is having another baby! Id love to wake up 1 day & think oh actually im not bothered anymore...if it happens it happens ...lol....doubt thats gonna happen tho!!!

my doc did the 1st tests ( hormone & sperm) b4 we were ttc for 12 mths....since then we have had lots more tests done, scans, hycosy, more sperm, bloods, & i am now on clomid.

hope it works out 4 u & u get ur BFP soon
