Hello everyone! My name is Brittany and i am new to this forum. A little background about me and dh ttc journey.
Me and dh hubby have been ttc since January 2011. We have not once had a bfp. I was on clomid for 7 cycles, had the ovidrel shot on one of those cycles, and have done an iui. I have had an hsg and a laparoscopy yesterday to look for endo. From what dh has told me, they did not find any endo, but did find some scar tissue and they removed during surgery. I go to my re on the 26th this month for next steps. Just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced anything similar or had any words of wisdom to keep me going. This has been an extremely long process and it's been tiresome. Thanks for any input

I'm right there with ya! Similar story you can see in my signature. It is a rough road. Toughest thing I have faced. All we want to be is mom's :) I have found lots of support here. What do you want to do next?

Well, now that I've had the lap, I would like to get preggo on our own. But I think with re I would like to be put either on clomid or femara again and do another iui. Ivf is really not an option right now, so I would like to try smaller things to see if they will work for us now. Good luck to you on your journey. I am hoping 2015 will be our year!! Keep your head up!! I'll keep you in my thoughts

Thanks! Just follow your heart and do what you are ready for no matter what the docs say!

Hi ladies, I highly recommend getting tested for Reproductive immune issues if you've mc'd or not able to see a bfp. I tried with my fc for 2 years with 3 iui's and 3ivf's and then 3 European ivf's with donor eggs. When I mc'd a perfectly viable pregnancy I got testing done at Dr. beers. My original fc told me they did clotting testing among many other tests, well Dr Beers found that I have Thoprombophilia, AntiPhospholipid Antibodies (2 very common forms of clotting that will either cause embryos to fail to implant or mc all the way up to second trimester. I also had test scores of reactive properties (LAD scores) to my DH's blood. I had immune treatments done and got pregnant naturally 7 months later.

I don't know why no one talks about immune issues in the ltttc forums because sooo many couples go on to conceive after getting diagnosed & treated for immune issues (natural killer cells, clotting etc). I'll be on blood thinners to help baby implant deeply & prevent mc. I wish you ladies the best! :dust:
