Well, I am introducing myself to you all in this forum becuase I believe we are on the road to assissted conception. We just found out that DH has fertility issues as well. :hissy: I just can't believe this is happening to me, and I feel like I totally lost control over the situation once his problems entered the picture as well. I could handle that I have mild endo and that I may have to go through some stuff (which i haven't yet), but I felt like I could fix it since it was me.
NOW- I have no idea what is going to happen, or what I am about to go through to deal with the fact that we are both having fertility issues.
Is there ANYONE else out there going through this?? How are you feeling??

hiya hun, welcome to the section, all the ladies here are so very supportive.

I don't have endo, so i don't know the course of treatment regards fertility (i suffer from annovulation). Has your DH had SA? My DH had a terrible SA the first time which triggered concerns, but it did improve naturally the second time. He's waiting to go for his next and has been taking mens health supplements to boost all the bits and bobs he needs for his part. Is that something that could possibly help?

I do understand the lack of control bit, as many ladies do here too. I think feelings-wise, it's a rollercoaster hun - some days are ok, some are utter crap, but talking about it here has helped me no end.

I'm sorry i can't answer or help you, but i do you wish you well in your journey hun

My Dh has had 2 SA's and both have come back abnormal. He is going to see a urologist next week, and I have no idea what to tell him to expect.
Any advice there would help too!!!!
I have him taking vitamins as well, and am working on getting him to excercise but he works long hours so no luck so far.

I don't know much about urology so i can't help you there hun. It sounds like a step in the right direction though, the questions / expectations might not come til you actually get there (if that makes sense!).

I do remember watching some Gillian McKeith thing on tv a long time ago, it had 3 guys with abnormal readings and she set them off on some super food smoothie, veg etc etc diet thing, and 2 out of the 3 raised their counts within 3 months i think it was.

i hope the appointment helps you guys regain some sense of control hun, good luck x

I know how you feel, I have moderate endo and DH has low count. It's devastating to find out you have to jump over more than one hurdle. Keep your head up and talk to the Dr. about your options. I think IUI is the next step for us.

I don't know what our next step is right now. I have a follow-up visit for bloodwork (day 3 & 21) and they said we would see then where to go. I am just anxious to hear about what is next.
