Why am i getting cosy?cos im gona be here a loooooooong time.
My husband left me unexpectedly on the 7th February this year, it was completely out of the blue. I was devastated but as time goes on im coming to terms with it and getting on as best i can.
I have a near 6 year old lad who one night went to bed and never saw his stepdad again (he had lived with us for 4 years). Obvs its hit him hard but me n his dad are helping him through it.
Its been hard because my husband was (or so i thought) a lovely guy, we never argued (maybe part of the problem?!), was brill with my son, worked hard to provide for us, was a loving, caring man whom i adored and loved.
I spent about 5/6 weeks in shock but things have calmed down now and im coming to terms with our new life....parts are very exciting, others scary!
I have hit every emotion going these past few months and am actually expecting some more-you never know what its gona be next!
My advice to anyone gong through similar would be to make sure you spend lots of quality time (and councilling/ranting time!) with family and most of all-keep busy!
