newbie at TTC

Hey Yall!

I just joined this forum today. My lovely SO and I are on our third month of TTC. It's kind of on the down-low since I don't want to constantly have to answer questions from people on if i'm pregnant yet or not. The only family member that knows that we're actively trying is my momma. I think she wants a grand-baby more than I want a baby. She started buying baby stuff before I even told her we were going to start trying.

We have no idea if we're going to have problems. As far as I know, I'm healthy and so is he. My periods have been regular my whole life, besides when I would forget or screw up my birth control.

If I don't miss my period this month, I think we're going to look into those ovulation kits. SO is 30, and as of right now I want 4 little minions total so we gotta get moving! (who knows, I might change my mind after the first one lol)

And I hear you about being crazy. Pretty sure my OH thinks i'm going insane. But he's been a great supporter and just laughs at all the off the wall things i say.

Hello I'm in month two of TTC, used OPK's this month as I have slightly irregular cycles so thought it would help to know roughly when I will ovulate. I had a v positive OPK yesterday, so I imagine ovulation is today or possibly tomorrow! 👍🏻 which is exciting!

Last month, we totally missed ovulation as I had an oddly long cycle but given it every possible shot this month! But Im pragmatic that it quite likely won't happen first real go!

I'm sure I missed my ovulation the last 2 months as well. I wasn't tracking anything and if it happened it happened. This is the first month I've logged my days and counted the days. I estimated that my ovulation day was 07/16. So i'm 6 DPO. Maybe...who knows lol I have zero symptoms, and AF shouldn't be coming until July 30th or 31st. crossing my fingers for a sticky baby.

are you TTC #1? Or do you have other children?
