im a bit late to introduce myself on this thread but better late than never lol!!
well my OH proposed to me on the 1st May 2010!! it wasnt romantic, it wasnt with him down on one knee, it wasnt even with a ring but it was just perfect!!!! we had been out shopping and i spotted the ring in the jewellers window, we came home and i thought he was going out to help his friend move some stuff (they'd arranged it earlier in the day!) but he came back and i was talking to my mum on the phone and mentioned the ring i'd seen! after finishing on the phone my OH said i wouldnt want that ring anyway and i asked why not, and then he said "they only had it in size M", then he produced a receipt and said "so will you?" hehehehe, he been back to the jewellers and bought the ring and sent it off to be resized (he knew my size)!
so i got my ring back on 12th may and its soooo gorgeous! when he got the ring back he got down on one knee and said "look at the shiney shiney" lol
anyway we're planning on getting married in 2012 and im still so excited!
