Hi ladies -I'd like to join you LTTC'ers if thats ok? Just don't feel like I belong in TTC any more. Last depo was 16 months ago, irregular periods ever since and rarely ovulate, m/c @6wks in August and back to irregular periods since then.
I just wanted to ask if anyone had any experience of treating irregular periods after Depo with Provera? I posted this in TTC but no-one replied!
I have totally random periods (cycles from 12 to 37 days) since coming off depo, at my last dr's appointment I was booked for more blood tests adn a scan but also prescribed provera to take in the cycle after my blood test for 10 days from CD12.
The active ingredient in Depo and Provera is the same (medroxyprogesterone aceate) and I'm just confused and worried about putting this back into my body when I'm pretty sure Depo is the reason I can't get pregnant in the first place.
I really don't know whether to take the provera or not. I'll be having my blood tests done his week (will be CD15 if AF doesn't arrive) so any advice would be appreciated.
