HI ladies, guess I'd better formally introduce myself lol.

I had been lurking on these forums for a few days and just got a BFP yesterday. I just turned 35 last month and this baby is a complete surprise/shock. Hubby and I have 3 kiddos and weren't trying for anymore.

Hubby is thrilled and I am on the one who is not so sure!

I am nervous because I had 3 early losses in a row before conceiving my youngest and one loss before having my oldest child and we never really found out the reason.

I haven't called a doc yet, as this is all still sinking in. I will get that done next week.

Also freaking out about telling our families, since I know they will all think we are nuts for having another baby, even though it's none of their concern.

Hoping to get to know all of you better!

I'm 40 and expecting my 3rd. This one was planned although I am not 100% sure how many people I will actually tell that to! My Sister knows and she has been OK about it...starting to come round and my DF's parents know and they are over the moon.

I am 35 and pregnant with #3 and #4. They were not planned either. I have a 13 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. It took 4 years and clomid to conceive my daughter. The doctors told me she would be the last one. They were wrong.

First off, congrats on your pregnancy.

I know you're a little nervous and all - this pregnancy being unplanned (been there, done that!), but the happiness will sink in soon enough. Work in getting your bearings first. I know the first few days, your head will be in the fog about it all. It sounds as though hubby is already on board, which is awesome for you since at least you have his support And family....well, don't worry about them just yet. Take these first few weeks to get your thoughts together - talk with hubby, let it all sink in. We're all here to chat!
