Im a avid cloth user on my almost 2 year old.

One of my friends who is due in 2 weeks is also considering using cloth and has purchased some btps. I have explained they will be too big for quite a while but she is happy to put them by.

So my questions are....

she is looking at tb bamboozles and were wondering how many u would use a day?and how many wraps? fleece or pul? etc etc. i have never used wraps and use fleece longies at night etc so any advise appreciated.

it's still early days for us, but we find tb bamboozle stretchies to be the worst for drying time (no tumble) at 48hrs+ and our favs are BG newborn with LL boosters (he outpees EVERYTHING!). They dry in 12hrs or less and fit well (9lbs at birth). Teenyfit also good, rumparooz still bit big and bambooty not absorbent enough yet.

we're getting by on about 10 nappies and 2 wraps (only 2 need them), washing every other day.

I rate motherease Sandys for newborns, with rikki wraps. They're pretty cheap, easy to fit and they dry surprisingly quickly if spun well. Teddy was a pooey baby, so could be up to eight a day at first, with me having to rinse wraps most days. I love Terry squares, and they're a good back up nappy to have and not desperately difficult to fold really.
